Rainy Day in Bogor

Once upon a time, there was a couple who want to spend a time together around the town. But they was so bored with the capital city. Then they had a plan to go to the Rain City, to catch up some moments and spend weekend together.

Ha! Kidding... It seems that I have a talent to be a storyteller, don't I ?

I should tell the world about this great feeling I have inside. Though it was just a simple-cheap-short trip to Bogor, but I had a great time with lovely one. That Saturday morning we decided to go to the Presidential Palace, Kebun Raya and to have a great-taste-yamin noodle.
So we started the day by preparing all we need to reach the city for about 1,5 hours journey by the motorcycle. It was a sunny day, although it was not really pleasant to pass all those holes on the street. It was awful. After we reach MT Haryono Street, the sky was so cloudy. And exactly when we reached Sudirman Street, it started to rain. Only after 10 minutes, the rain getting heavy and we stop the journey. Waiting for the rain while searching places we want to visit on the digital maps.

Actually the Presidential Palace is only about five minutes from there, we passed it without taking picture, but I was happy enough to see those deers from outside. Because the rain wasn't exactly stop, we decided to have lunch first at Yung Bangka Es, it is exactly across the PLN Office and in front of Bogor Train Station.
Only about 20 meters before we arrived, the rain became heavy again. Rushy, rushy, we need to be there before we got all of our outfit wet. And thank God everything was under control. After we arrived there, we directly order our lunch.
We ordered the same menu : It was Mi Yamin komplit with Es Teler for both of us. Expecially because we got a super delicious broth to warm our stomach.
The noodle got a superb texture and also the chicken strewment was sooo delicious. They separated in a different bowl. In another bowl we got meatballs, tofu and dumplings, with some green vegetable. The taste of savory chicken broth, and smell of celery arouse my appetite. Plus, the most delicious Es Teler we had, included avocado, coconut and jackfruit completed with brown sugar. And our tummy was so happy :)))
After that, actually we had plan to visit Kebun Raya, but the rain was terrible. We had stop and take shelter in the nearest place. It was an old-building of a tailor. And we had long conversation there, waiting for the rain to stop.
But because of the rain wasn't stop at all, we cancelled to visit Kebun Raya and directly went home in the middle of the rain. Both of us got wet after 2 hours journey to reach home. But we were happy afterall. Rainy Day in Bogor was a meaningful short trip for us. It doesn't matter where we go, as long as we went there together, it all would be always fun and happy.
